Job summary

A long-term care facility in Quinte West is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal plating, serving, and cleanliness. The ideal candidate has relevant training, dietary experience, and must be able to stand for extended periods. You'll work within a team to ensure meals meet health regulations and serve residents' dietary needs effectively. Qualifications

• Successful completion and/or enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act required.
• Previous dietary experience preferred in LTC Home 0-1 year(s).
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to read and write English and understand simple instructions.
• Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with plating and serving of meals.
• Responsible for cleaning serving areas and equipment.
• Participates in meal presentation.
• Works cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Delivers and serves meals according to resident's needs.
