A long-term care facility in Quinte West is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal plating, serving, and cleanliness. The ideal candidate has relevant training, dietary experience, and must be able to stand for extended periods. Qualifications
Successful completion and/or enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act required.
Previous dietary experience preferred in LTC Home 0-1 year(s).
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to read and write English and understand simple instructions.
Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
Assist with plating and serving of meals.
Responsible for cleaning serving areas and equipment.
Participates in meal presentation.
Works cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team.
Delivers and serves meals according to resident's needs.
