Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our Long Term Care team in Creemore, ON. In this role you’ll help prepare and serve meals, follow individual diets, and contribute to a warm, respectful home where residents are known by their life stories.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and support residents daily, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compassionate interactions that align with our mission to empower seniors to live with dignity and joy.

As a Dietary Aide at Long Term Care, you'll contribute more than just your professional skills; you'll create meaningful relationships with the individuals who call Sienna Senior Living their home. This position allows you to deliver compassionate care to our residents through your responsibilities in dietary services. What You’ll Be Doing

You will be a welcomed member of the Long Term Care team, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Dietary Aide you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

How You’ll Succeed

• Assist with the preparation of meals, and serving meals
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences
• Take the menu orders from the residents
• Set and clear tables in the dining rooms and ensure they are sanitized
• Ensure you are following proper food handling techniques

  Who You Are

  • Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain
  • You are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullest
  • You are detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff
  • You may bring experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality
  • While possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent, it’s not a requirement
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit
  • You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the appropriate province
