Job summary

Corexplore Drilling Services Corporation is seeking a Diamond Drill Supervisor for surface and underground operations across Canada and the United States. You will lead drilling projects, ensure safety, and drive productive, cost-effective results.

Reporting to the Drill Superintendent, you will supervise crews, enforce policies, manage training, and develop emergency plans. Minimum 2 years supervising surface or underground core rigs, plus valid First Aid/CPR and Core Core training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor on Surface or Underground core drill rigs.
• Valid First Aid and CPR.
• Surface Diamond Drilling Common Core (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Supervise crews to complete duties safely, efficiently, and in compliance with policies, procedures, and laws.
• Maintain understanding and adherence to safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Ensure personnel are trained and instructed to perform work safely and productively.
• Apply progressive discipline when required to address violations of safety standards.
• Identify health and safety hazards and communicate them to crew members.
• Address and correct any substandard conditions or unsafe practices.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety devices at drill sites.
• Perform duties without endangering personnel, equipment, or the environment.
• Develop and implement Emergency Response Plans for assigned projects and inform crews.
• Maintain functional communication systems at all drill sites.

Target Start Date and Duration: The position is longterm and available immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Diamond DrillSupervisor leads and coordinates assigned drilling projects to deliver safe,productive, and cost-effective operations. Reporting to the DrillSuperintendent, this role is accountable for maintaining the highest safetystandards and maximizing crew performance.

• Supervise crews to ensure duties are completedsafely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, procedures, andall applicable legislation
• Maintain a strong understanding of and adherenceto all relevant safety regulations and safe work practices
• Ensure all personnel are properly trained andinstructed to perform their work safely and productively
• Apply progressive discipline when required toaddress violations of company policies or safety standards
• Identify and communicate potential or existinghealth and safety hazards to crew members
• Address and correct any substandard conditionsor unsafe work practices
• Always ensure proper use of personal protectiveequipment (PPE) and safety devices

• Promote a positive safety culture by encouragingworker feedback and continuous improvement

Valid Training and Experience Requirements:

• Valid First Aid and CPR
• Surface Diamond Drilling Common Core (orequivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Supervisoron Surface or Underground core drill rigs.
