A healthcare provider in Canada is seeking a diagnostic radiologist for Kelowna General Hospital. The role offers fellowship training, opportunities for leadership development, and a supportive team environment. Radiologists can expect to perform various procedures, such as biopsies and drainages, with home reporting options available. Attractive relocation reimbursement of up to $12,000 for moves within Canada is also provided. This is a chance to work in a vibrant community that offers an outstanding quality of life.
At Kelowna General Hospital (KGH), we’re looking to add a diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training to our team of 16 diagnostic and interventional radiologists.
At the hospital, we have four CT scanners, two MRIs including a 3Tesla magnet, and a department expansion underway to add two new MRI units, a brand-new interventional fluoroscopy suite, digital mammography, and a PET scanner located at the adjacent BCCA. We are currently the only IH site performing MRI-guided breast biopsies. At our three clinics, we perform X-ray, ultrasound, bone mineral density, and diagnostic mammography.
The procedural requirements for diagnostic radiologists are predominantly biopsies and drainages. All vascular intervention, nephrostomy tubes, and complex biliary work are handled by the IR team.
We welcome new graduates or those interested in locum opportunities during the recruitment process. All radiologists have access to home reporting and home reporting rotations.
Leadership development opportunities are available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.
If you are passionate about your work and looking to practice in a welcoming community where the lifestyle opportunities are endless, join us at KGH and discover the rewards of career satisfaction.
