Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) in British Columbia invites a fellowship-trained diagnostic radiologist to join a team of radiologists with access to four CT scanners and advanced MRI capabilities. The role emphasizes biopsies and drainages, with opportunities for home reporting and NAVIG8 leadership development within Interior Health.
Ideal candidates have fellowship training in radiology and enjoy a welcoming community with high-quality patient care.
At Kelowna General Hospital (KGH), we’re looking to add a diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training to our team of 16 diagnostic and interventional radiologists.
At the hospital, we have four CT scanners, two MRIs including a 3Tesla magnet, and a department expansion underway to add two new MRI units, a brand-new interventional fluoroscopy suite, digital mammography, and a PET scanner located at the adjacent BCCA. We are currently the only IH site performing MRI-guided breast biopsies. At our three clinics, we perform X-ray, ultrasound, bone mineral density, and diagnostic mammography. The procedural requirements for diagnostic radiologists are predominantly biopsies and drainages. All vascular intervention, nephrostomy tubes, and complex biliary work are handled by the IR team.
We welcome new graduates or those interested in locum opportunities during the recruitment process. All radiologists have access to home reporting and home reporting rotations.
Leadership development opportunities are available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.
