A community-focused health service provider in Prince George is seeking a Diabetes Educator to implement diabetes services for First Nations communities. As an integral part of the Mobile Diabetes Clinic, and in collaboration with other health providers, the Diabetes Educator implements and delivers a range of diabetes services to communities. These range from health promotion initiatives, to a series of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention objectives aimed at increasing First Nations access to diabetes care/education, and improving overall health outcomes.

The target hiring range for this position is $35.0796 to $63.4893 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicant’s role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
