Job description

LicenseSpring is a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company specializing in software licensing and activation management. Our platform is embedded into a wide range of applications, helping software vendors securely license, monetize, and distribute their products worldwide. We are seeking a talented and driven DevOps / SRE Engineer to help scale, manage and secure our cloud infrastructure as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployments.
  • Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Automate cloud operations, monitoring, and security processes to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring high availability and resilience.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance system performance, security, and scalability.
  • Strong experience working with AWS.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • Solid knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally with ArgoCD.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP network fundamentals, security best practices, and cloud governance.
  • Knowledge of common web technologies and/or Internet service architectures (such as LAMP or MEAN stacks, CDN, Load Balancing techniques, etc.)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale cloud-based applications.
  • Any experience working as a software engineer (preferably Python/Go/C++)

Nice to Have

  • Experience working across multiple public/private clouds.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or other relevant cloud/DevOps certifications.
  • Track record of setting technical direction for a team, driving consensus and successful cross-functional partnerships
