Job summary

Delta Controls Inc. in Canada is seeking a DevOps Manager to own DevOps practice, tooling, and release management across the Product Development department. This role ensures deployment success and collaborates with each product's DevOps Specialist and team leads to resolve issues.

The DevOps Manager oversees shared tooling, source control, code quality platforms, and the enterprise on-call/incident response program for SaaS applications, guiding standards org-wide.

Qualifications

• Experience leading DevOps practices across multiple teams.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and release management.
• Experience with incident response and on-call programs.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps practice, tooling, and release management across the Product Development department.
• Lead adoption of consistent merge/branching/release standards across PD.
• Coordinate deployment windows and cadence to minimize cross-team conflicts.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD infrastructure standards across PD and run on-call/incident response.

Job Summary

The DevOps Manager owns DevOps practice, tooling, and release management across the entire Product Development department. This role is accountable for release and deployment success and works collaboratively with each product's DevOps Specialist and team lead to resolve issues. The role also owns operations and maintenance of the department's shared DevOps tooling, including source control and code quality platforms, and owns the enterprise On-Call/incident response program for SaaS applications.

DevOps Specialists embedded within individual product teams continue to report administratively to their Team Leads or Enterprise Directors; the DevOps Manager is their functional manager, setting technical direction and standards for the discipline org-wide, without holding direct people-management responsibility over them.

Duties & Responsibilities

Release & Pipeline Management

• Accountable for the overall success of build and deployment processes across all PD products — reliability, consistency, and adherence to DevOps standards — partnering with each product's DevOps Specialist and team lead to diagnose and resolve issues
• Define and promote consistent merge/branching/release standards across PD; work with product teams to adopt them
• Advise and coordinate on deployment windows and cadence for products to avoid cross-team conflicts
• Maintain and continually improve CI/CD infrastructure standards across PD
