Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Ontario, Canada to lead a DevOps team and streamline CI/CD across projects. You will design and implement the DevOps framework, select the right tools, and drive automation from planning through release.

Collaboration with operations, development and testing teams is essential. The role requires hands-on experience with Jira/Confluence, Linux, MSSQL, and scripting in Groovy or Python, plus on-call production support.

Qualifications

Senior DevOps leadership with CI/CD ownership across multiple projects.
Experience integrating security throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
Strong scripting and automation capabilities (Groovy, Python).

Responsibilities

Lead DevOps team to enable CI/CD across applications.
Define DevOps architecture/framework per project requirements.
Select and deploy DevOps tools aligned to client needs.
Manage infrastructure for supported software code.
Drive DevOps pipeline from planning to monitoring and release.
Onboard application config from planning to release; ensure security integration.
Provide customer support and escalations for DevOps tool deployments.
Mentor and develop team members; manage recruitment and training.
Oversee 24/7 on-call rotations and production environment maintenance.
