Job summary

Ciena Corporation in Ottawa, Ontario, invites a motivated student to join the Optical Networks DevOps team for a four-month term starting September 2026. You will contribute to CI, development tools, and workflow improvements that support product releases, within a collaborative Agile environment.

Work closely with DevOps, software and infrastructure teams, applying automation and data-driven approaches to boost quality, stability, and speed. In-office, travel to Ottawa Campus is expected.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent
• Travel to Ottawa Campus (In Office)

• Support evolution of CI, development tools, and workflow solutions for Optical Networks releases
