Job summary

Livingston is seeking a DevOps Developer to bridge project planning and software deployment, building pipelines, configuring systems, and running diagnostics throughout development. The role emphasizes strong DevOps practices and collaboration with engineering teams to enhance deployment performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in AWS, CI/CD, Python and automation, contributing to secure and efficient software delivery in a fast-paced, international trade environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, CodeDeploy, Lambda, RDS, and LoadBalancing.
• Familiar with containers.
• Knowledge of GitFlow and CICD pipelines.
• Writes scripts and automation using Python and Bash.
• Experience managing source control - GIT is a plus.
• Experience planning, creating, configuring, documenting and maintaining: Branching/merging strategy for Azure DevOps.
• CI/CD pipeline is a plus.
• Experience implementing automation to improve development and release processes.
• Ability to work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

The DevOps Developer's role is to manage the transition between project planning and software deployment while developing pipelines, configuring systems, and performing diagnostic tests throughout the stages of development. To ensure success as a DevOps Developer, the ideal candidate has experience in DevOps engineering. Outstanding DevOps Developers optimize and enhance a company's software deployment and performance methods.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborating with developers on software requirements, as well as interpreting test stage data.
