Bombardier in Dorval is seeking a Development Technologist, Cabin Innovation, to translate 2D drawings into 3D models, and to develop cabinet, mechanism and system components from concept to final prototype. You will contribute to drawings and technical specifications for prototypes and integrate ergonomic assemblies.

Be involved in the entire development and design process.
Translate 2D drawings and concept into 3D models, assemblies and kinematics.
Develop cabinet, mechanism and system components from concept to final prototype.
Participate in the development of drawings and technical specifications for prototype.
Integrate and/or generate ergonomic and mechanical assemblies.
You have knowledge of the specifications, design, and integration of aircraft interior systems.
Improve prototype concepts through the process of iteration, testing and design review.
Provide solutions and resolve complex problems using manufacturing and prototyping techniques.
Conduct studies, analyzes and calculations to guide, using general and specific technical parameters, design technicians and project directors in their work.
Work on the development, design and testing of various mechanical systems.
Help to demonstrate the feasibility of the concept through presentation.
You have a technical diploma in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
You have 7 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the field of mechanical design.
You have great motivation to take on challenges and great determination to achieve results, bringing strong technical skills, an understanding of manufacturing processes as well as a good problem-solving approach.
You are an individual who possesses creativity that is aligned with Bombardier's philosophy of design and innovation: highly innovative, functional and visually stunning in order to exceed our customers' expectations
Knowledge of Catia and NX deisgn software is an asset
