Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is seeking a Development Officer to manage a donor portfolio, solicit major gifts, and build lasting relationships with supporters in Alberta and beyond.
You will lead fundraising campaigns, collaborate with arts and leadership teams, and ensure ethical, strategic stewardship while meeting annual targets and growth objectives. Hybrid work arrangement offered.
Preference will be given to candidates based in Alberta due to the nature of the prescribed portfolio.

In service of Banff Centre for Art and Creativity’s mission, vision and strategic priorities, the Development Office generates revenue to meet or exceed annual and/or campaign targets, assists its private and public supporters with meeting their giving objectives in line with Banff Centre’s strategic priorities, and builds strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The Development Officer has specific responsibilities and accountabilities in the qualification, cultivation, solicitation, recognition, and stewardship of a portfolio of supporters/prospects with the goal of securing commitments (annual and multi-year) for identified fundraising priorities (annual and campaign).
