Summary

The Development Manager, Craft oversees artist crewing and resource management across various franchises for marketing projects. You will lead project missions focusing on artist management, delivery targets, and ensuring artists are effectively allocated to meet project goals. Success in this role will be demonstrated through streamlined production workflows, and optimised artist management practices that align with EA's marketing goals. This is a hybrid remote/in-office role. You will report to the Development Director of Craft Management. Plenty of additional perks including gym access, free games, and more!

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day artist scheduling, task assignments, and project tracking to meet delivery goals.
  • Collaborate with the Development Director to maintain the artist resource plan and adjust allocations as priorities shift.
  • Ensure project milestones are met by proactively identifying risks and escalating issues when needed.
  • Partner with Execution Production, Campaign Production, and Localization to coordinate timelines and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Support the implementation of standardised production workflows and documentation.
  • Maintain and update production tracking tools (e.g., Airtable, Flow, Frame IO) to ensure accurate project visibility.
  • Provide regular updates on team progress, capacity, and delivery status to the Development Director.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative environment where artists feel supported and engaged.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of production experience in a creative, marketing, or game development environment, with a focus on scheduling, resource coordination, or production management.
  • Experience leading or coordinating creative teams and fostering collaboration.
  • Proficiency with production tracking tools such as Airtable, Flow, and Frame IO.
  • Familiarity with Digital Content Creation (DCC) tools such as Frostbite, Unreal Engine, Maya, Motion Builder, Photoshop, and Premier.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
