Infrastructure Ontario (IO), an Ontario crown corporation, provides a wide range of services to support the Ontario government’s initiative to modernize and maximize the value of public infrastructure and realty. IO delivers some of the most complex, ambitious commercial and land development solutions for the Province and continues to evolve and expand its capabilities to maximize its public impact and deliver on its vision of creating a connected, modern and competitive Ontario.
Development is responsible for executing strategic land development opportunities that include the delivery of Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC), the use of surplus lands for social purpose outcomes (e.g., attainable housing, health care and long-term care), and the planning and delivery of landmark projects like the redevelopment of Ontario Place.
Position Purpose:
The Development Director plays a prominent role in realizing the province’s outcomes from key partnerships that have been established between the province and development partners. These outcome include the delivery of housing and the infrastructure to enable it as well as agreements with Metrolinx, Municipalities and other parties to support these outcomes. The Director will establish and manage the tracking and delivery of provincial obligations within development agreements, ensuring commitments are upheld and outcomes are achieved.

We offer a competitive hiring range of$128,000 to$165,700 (P6 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
