BDO Canada LLP seeks a Developer Advocate to bridge our AI Studio and Service Line Labs, driving adoption, governance, and developer experience across the firm with a hybrid schedule and travel as needed.
You will collaborate on AI tool integration, design training programs, and mentor practitioners building AI agents, ensuring responsible AI practices and measurable ROI.

The Developer Advocate will serve as a critical bridge between BDO Canada's AI Studio and Service Line Labs, ensuring seamless collaboration, technical enablement, and advocacy for AI adoption across the firm. This is a new role in the team and champions developer experience, promotes responsible AI practices, and accelerates the creation of AI agents that enhance workflows and client value. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration. Periodic travel may be required as part of the position.

Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in software development, AI/ML concepts and development, and API integration. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in developer advocacy, technical evangelism, or community building. Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio) and governance principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Passion for enabling innovation responsibly within a professional services context.
The expected range of compensation for this role is $93,000 - $141,000 annually.
