Job summary

Performance Collision Brampton is seeking a Detailer to join our skilled team. You will detail vehicles, perform washing, waxing, and buffing, and inspect finishes to meet high standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of detailing experience, a valid Ontario driver’s license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is hourly with growth opportunities and benefits. This position is full-time and permanent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of automotive detailer experience is preferred.
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Capable of working in a collaborative environment while providing a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailing services that exceed customer’s needs.
• Adhere to processes and procedures while administering professional cleaning chemicals to surfaces.
• Advanced ability to operate automatic and manual vehicles as required.
• Execute the washing, waxing, and buffing of vehicles to company standards.
• Clean vehicle windows inside and out, while considering the proper cleaning products when tinting agents have been applied to windows.
• Initiate visual inspections of the interior and exterior of the vehicle once all tasks are completed to ensure that the product meets customer and company standards.
• Organize cleaning tools and equipment to maintain a clean work station.
• Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
• Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
• Other duties as required by management.

What You Need To Succeed

• Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.

Job Type:

Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected flat hourly rate):

$21.00 per hour under our skilled trades flat-rate (piece work) compensation plan.

Expected annual earnings:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on historical earnings at this location and typical productivity; actual earnings vary based on individual output and service department repair order volumes.
