Job summary

Northland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Prince George, BC is seeking a detailer to clean and detail vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both interior and exterior are pristine for delivery. You will vacuum, deodorize, wash, apply paint sealant, and polish wheels, using various hand-held tools while following safety protocols.

A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required. This full-time onsite role offers competitive compensation and benefits, plus employee vehicle plans

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Interest in automotive industry and knowledge about vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset.
• Must be dependable, reliable, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and using power tools and hand-held equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Detail interior and exterior of customer vehicles.

• Ensure exterior surfaces are clean and smudge-free.
• Detail interiors, wipe dash, vacuum, and wash floor mats.
• Apply paint sealant.

• Notify supervisor or technician of parts in need of repair or replacement.
• Complete quality control checklist.
• Perform other repair duties as required.

Your area of focus.

The Service Department Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery. This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high-quality service.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles
• Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
• Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free
• Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats
• Apply paint sealant
• Clean and polish wheels and rims
• Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars
• Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of car that require repair or replacement
• Complete quality control checklist
• Perform other repair duties as required

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $18.25 – $21 Hourly — No bonus. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
