Job summary

McNaught Cadillac Buick GMC is seeking a Detailer to clean and detail vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring interiors and exteriors are customer-ready. You will support the service team by maintaining a tidy workspace and following safety protocols while delivering high-quality detailing.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a genuine interest in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Interest in automotive industry and knowledgeable about vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with cleaning products and cleaning tools is an asset.
• Physically able to perform heavy lifting, standing long periods, and using power tools.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles.
• Perform general car detailing activities, including vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
• Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free
• Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats
• Apply paint sealant
• Clean and polish wheels and rims
• Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars
• Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when parts of car require repair or replacement
• Complete quality control checklist
• Perform other repair duties as required

Your area of focus.

The Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery. This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high-quality service.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles
• Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
• Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free
• Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats
• Apply paint sealant
