Intact Service Centre Oakville, part of the Budds’ Group, is seeking an Automotive Detailer to clean, polish, and protect new and pre-owned vehicles for showroom and delivery. You will inspect for defects, greet customers, and ensure all detailing meets safety and quality standards.

Role emphasizes physical work, attention to detail, and teamwork within a busy collision repair environment. Training and safety adherence are essential for daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license (Class G) with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and detailing techniques.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Eye for detail and passion for high quality detailing.
• Previous detailing experience or related field preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Clean interiors and exteriors of vehicles (carpet, upholstery, dash, wheels, tires, body panels).
• Polish and wax vehicle finishes to protect from environmental damage.
• Inspect vehicles for defects and cleanliness before delivery.
• Ensure detailing work meets company standards.
• Greet customers and discuss detailing needs and services.

Intact Service Centre Oakville is looking for an Automotive Detailer!

About us:

Intact Service Centre Oakville, under the Budds' Group of Companies. Is a state of the art Collision Repair Facility. Servicing Oakville for the past 3 years.

As an instrumental player on both the sales and service team, the Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing new and pre-owned vehicles. The detailer plays an integral role in ensuring the successful delivery of vehicles to customers. The detailer is also responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of all vehicles in the showroom and retail display.

Job Duties:

• Cleaning, protecting, and preserving vehicle interiors (ie. carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (ie. wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper).
• Polishing and waxing the vehicle's paint and finish, protecting it from environmental damage.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and ensure all vehicles are free from dirt, dust, and blemishes.
• Perform thorough inspections to ensure all cleaning and detailing work meets company standards.
• Greet customers, discuss their detailing needs, and provide information about the services offered.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Clean and maintain detailing equipment and ensure a tidy workspace.
• Overall preparation of vehicles for customer delivery.

Successful Candidates Possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Valid driver's (Class G) license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper use of automotive cleaning equipment, and detailing techniques.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Eye for detail and perfection and a passion for delivering high quality.
• Previous detailing experience or related field.
• Strong commitment to providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
