Job summary

Groupe Dynamite Inc. in Montréal is seeking a Designer to support design development for lifestyle and brand initiatives while staying current with trends and product novelty.

You will help transform the business from a traditional retailer to an omni-channel, tech-forward fashion leader. The role involves creating styles for COE/collections, contributing to trend ideas, developing 3D samples, and managing calendars and approvals across collections.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Fashion Design.
• 5–7 years of experience in technical sketches.
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Create styles for COE/collections aligning with the vision and brief.
• Contribute to trend ideas and product novelty for lifestyle lines.
• Assist in developing best-in-class samples (3D) to support lifestyle builds.

Job Summary:

The Design team is looking for a Designer to be responsible for supporting design development for your lifestyle and Brand and always staying abreast of trends and product novelty to increase style options.

You will be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick & mortar retailer, to an omni-channel leader and tech-first fashion disruptor.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create styles for specific COE/ collections increasing options to the vision/brief for lifestyle;
• Participate in trend ideas and product novelty;
• Participate in developing best in class samples(3D) to support lifestyle;
• Keep on top of development calendar and approvals, support each collection;
• Participate in style ideas for specific commodity while learning C-41 and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary diploma, DEC or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design;
• 5 to 7 years of experience in technical sketches;
• Detailed oriented, self-motivated;
• Good Microsoft office skills;
• Excellent knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop;
• Sound judgement and a good understanding of trends and the garment industry;
• Available to travel (if necessary);
• French or English is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec.
