Job summary

Bimplus in Toronto is seeking an experienced Design Manager / Senior Design Manager to lead design delivery on major build projects. You will oversee design teams, manage stakeholders and ensure compliance with contract requirements while coordinating with pre-construction and site delivery groups.

Relocation to Canada is supported; the role offers a strong project backlog, progression opportunities, and a path to senior leadership within a leading Tier 1/Tier 2 contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience on large-scale projects valued at £25m+.
• Experience managing stakeholders and design teams.

Design Manager / Senior Design Manager – are you a Design Manager looking to take your career overseas?

We are partnering with our client who is one of North America's major construction contractors ($4bn t/o) to appoint Design Managers to work on major design and build projects across Toronto.

The Package

• Basic salary of $125K – $205K (£65K – £110K)
• Profit Related Company Bonus ($10K – $30K)
• Tax free relocation package ($10K – $20K)

Responsibilities & Duties

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design policy and procedures
• Ensure the team is meeting the compliance and contractual obligations
• Monitor project to ensure compliance and cost-effective design

Requirements

• Experience working on large scale projects valued at £25m+

• Willing and able to relocate to Canada

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record working as a Senior Design Manager on D&B projects (£25m+) for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contactor.
