Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Manager, Civil & Municipal Roadways to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Supervise and manage CAD designers, drafters, and technicians
  • Lead and participate in the development of CAD design deliverables
  • Assign CAD design tasks, monitor progress and set deadlines ensuring timely submission of deliverables
  • Provide mentorship and training on CAD software, design standards and processes
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and obtain directions
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate civil and roadway CAD designs as required
  • Ensure CAD designs meet industry and client specifications, standards and regulatory requirements
  • Implement and conduct QA and QC processes to ensure compliance with CAD design software requirements, standards, templates, workflows and methodologies
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Proficiency in CAD and/or Roadway Design software (AutoCAD, Microstation, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of various municipal roadway/industry design standards, workflows and processes
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge of various roadway/transportation engineering CAD Design software (Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, InRoads, AutoTurn, Torus, etc.)
