Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum of three years’ teaching experience or in industry related to Design Graphics software.
• Good knowledge of Design Graphics software, Auto CAD, and hands-free sketching.
• Demonstrated knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Understanding of cross-cultural practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and flexible approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach MECH 289 - Design Graphics, Section I in Winter 2027.
• Cover all material as written in the Course Outline on the McGill Course Catalogue page.
• Instruct on the design process, geometry construction, engineering graphic communication standards, and CAD software.
• Explain the role of visualization in the production of engineering designs.
