OurSpecialty Representativesdevelop robust business plans toexecute brand strategy and tactics inthefield,deliversales performanceandeffectively build strong customer relationships andsupportcustomer needs to maximizeshort and long-termsales performance,whileplacing the patientatthe center of any efforts and operating within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketingobjectivesinorder tomeet or exceedbusinessobjectives.
- Create pre-call plansand execute post-call evaluationin order tocontinuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections, misunderstandingsandconcerns, whileusinglogical andrationalinorder toclose on every sale call.
- Proactively and continuously support key stakeholders' needs, expectations and challenges,in order tobuild trusted relationships on a continual basis.
- Execute a call plan that achieves set metrics and optimizes coverageofkey customers,to maximize sales opportunities.
- Continuously build understanding ofcustomer needs and expectations, territory landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, diseases, products andclinical expertise. Share this market intelligence information withdistrictmanagerand respective team members,in ordertoachieve alignment, to anticipate environmental change and to optimize brand strategy and its execution.
- Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcareproviders and identify, develop and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocatesin order tomaximize brand performance.
Qualifications
Education/ExperienceRequired:
- Bachelor's degree.Science or Commerce preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience in dermatology, with direct territory experience acrossAtlantic provinces.Physician/account-basedselling, training, managed health care or marketingexperiencepreferred.
- Proven track recordin salesand solid presentation skills.
- Strong ability toproactivelyidentifiescustomer style / behavior andtoadapts quickly all aspects of selling approach.
- Recognized expert within-depth scientific, therapeutic, product and competitive knowledge.
- Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
- Operates effectively in a matrix environment.Proven record of in field teamleadershipan asset.
- Offers innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities for the largerorganization andanticipatesandresponds to changesor challenges.Isrecognized as a positive leader
- Viewed as a credible and respected role model and resource among peers. Builds collaborative partnershipswith district colleagues and team, etc.
- Documented success in leadership and support rolesof increased responsibility.
- Understands and leverages findings to develop/enhancesales strategies.
EssentialSkills&Abilities:
- Strong oral and writtencommunicationskills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Must be at ease with technology (the use of various tools/systems toperform day-to-day tasks
- Position requiresapproximately50% travelas wellassomeevening/weekend work, including overnight travel.
- Valid driver’slicenseand passport.
