Job summary

Head Medical seeks a Dermatology specialist for a London, Ontario clinic on a long-term basis. You will join an outpatient private medical clinic and work as an independent contractor under a Fee For Service model.

The role offers a high earning potential with 75% of billings to physicians and relocation assistance of $11,500 or a lump-sum sign-on bonus on start date. Initial contract is 3 years with renewal options toward permanency.

Qualifications

• Must hold board certification in Dermatology (American, UK or Australasian).
• Progression towards Ontario licensing for independent practice.
• Eligible to practice without supervision in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Work in outpatient private clinic as an independent contractor on a Fee For Service model.
• Deliver dermatology services and patient care in a clinic setting.
• Engage in long-term assignment with renewal options toward permanency.

Our client in London, Ontario has an exciting new opportunity for a Dermatology specialist to join one of their clinics on a long term basis.

The clinics provide both Family Medicine and Specialist services to the region. This is a great opportunity for a Dermatologist who wants a fresh start in a great Canadian city.

London, known as the Forest City, is just north of Lake Erie and the U.S. border. It's home to the University of Western Ontario. Among the city's range of museums are Museum London, a showcase for regional art and historical artefacts, and the interactive Children's Museum. The city centre features numerous parks and greenways along the Thames River.

Further Details:

The initial contract is for 3 years with the option to keep renewing with a view to being a permanent position if you want to make Canada home in the long term.

This position is based in an outpatient private medical clinic and you would therefore be working as an independent contractor on a Fee For Service model.

Requirements:

Holding either the American Board Certification in Dermatology, The UK CCT / CCST in Dermatology, or the Australasian FRACP in Dermatologyis a requirement for this position, as this will allow you to progress through the Ontario licensing process and obtain an independent practice certificate with the CPSO without the need to practice under supervision or take the Royal College exam.
