A regional government entity in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a full-time Deputy Treasurer to manage financial reporting, assist in budgeting, and oversee Treasury operations. Candidates must have a professional accounting designation with up to 9 years of experience. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $58.77 to $68.75 per hour, along with a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth.

Reporting to the Treasurer, Director of Corporate Services, the Deputy Treasurer role is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, accounting, payroll, budgeting, audit preparation, and supporting asset management and capital planning. The Deputy Treasurer also provides day-to-day oversight of a team of finance staff and Treasury operations, and ensures internal controls and financial policies are being followed. This position assumes the duties of the Treasurer in their absence.
