About Our Opportunity

As part of the Digital Health Enablement Team, you will play a critical role in advancing the One Person One Record (OPOR) initiative - one of the province’s most significant digital health transformations.

This position is essential to ensuring that digital health systems are deployed smoothly, adopted effectively, and sustained for the long term. From coordinating stakeholders to supporting go-live readiness, you will help deliver on a system that makes healthcare more connected, efficient, and accessible for Nova Scotians across the province.

You’ll bridge technical and clinical domains, supporting system integration, device deployment, service model design, and real-time reporting so that frontline healthcare professionals have the tools they need to deliver high-quality care.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Drive planning and coordination for deployment and go-live milestones, ensuring readiness across organizations and care settings.
  • Provide real-time reporting and risk tracking to monitor progress and suppo+rt decision-making.
  • Support system integration and device deployment to ensure digital tools are fully adopted and operational in healthcare environments.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into actionable plans that improve healthcare delivery for communities across Nova Scotia.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you bring a mix of technical and people skills, with a proven track record of leading complex initiatives.

You have :

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, health informatics, or a related field, plus a minimum of 3 years’ related experience; or graduation from a recognized Information Technology Program, plus 3 years and 6 months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders.
  • A track record of supporting successful client engagements and translating business needs into actionable solutions.

You bring experience with :

  • Large‑scale deployment planning.
  • Data visualization and reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Developing comprehensive business and technical roadmaps that clearly define current and future states.
  • Managing competing priorities in complex organizational environments.

Assets :

  • Prior experience with health information system projects, particularly in deployment, logistics, or analytics.
  • Experience supporting go‑live milestones, deployment coordination, and real‑time reporting.
  • Background in change management and training initiatives to support system adoption.
  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery environments and how digital systems integrate with frontline operations.
