Job Summary

Position: Deployment Clerk (Full Time)

Schedule: Days/afternoons

Location: Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario (On Site)

Complete Immunization Records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis A and B, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, TB Skin Tests – Steps 1 and 2)

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, serve as a valuable member of the Sodexo Team with a significant impact on efficient operation of the bed board management function.
• Place deploying beds to Victoria Hospital and University Hospital housekeepers for cleaning, transfer, and discharge.
• Maintain management of the bed board access and flow for the organization, providing a central resource for the client.
• Monitor the timely follow up and completion of discharge cleaning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year bed board management experience in a hospital setting.
• Minimum of 1 year completed in a post secondary Administration/Medical Office Administration Program.
• Demonstrated customer service focus.
• Well developed keyboarding/computer skills with a minimum keyboarding speed of 45 wpm and experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Cerner Capacity Management.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Experience problem solving and working in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated excellence in conflict resolution skills and handling difficult conversations.
• Demonstrated commitment to Health and Safety standards and working in compliance with related policies, Health and Safety Legislation, and best practices.
