CHEO is recruiting a Department Chief and full‑time pediatric anesthesiologist to actively lead clinical care, teaching and research in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

As one of 8 CHEO Medical Department Chiefs, the Chief of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine is a key medical leader within the organization. The successful candidate will oversee the quality and safety of clinical care provided by the Department, and as Co‑Medical Director of Perioperative Services will work in close collaboration with the Chief of Surgery and the Director of perioperative services to co‑lead the clinical Perioperative Services Patient Care leadership Team (PCLT) and participate in the CHEO led regional surgical program that utilizes operating room capacity in the region to reduce surgical wait times and deliver care closer to home.
