Job summary
A dental clinic in Windsor is looking for a skilled individual to construct and repair dentures. Responsibilities include supervising apprentices and taking measurements to fit dentures. Qualifications
- College, CEGEP or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Supervise apprentices and bench workers.
- Take measurement to determine size and shape of dentures.
- Make impression and mould of teeth, gums, and jaws.
- Construct dentures.
- Fit, adjust and repair dentures.
- Prepare partial dentures.
- Re-line and re-base dentures.
- Fabricate mouth protectors and removable prostheses.
Education and Experience
- Education : College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
