Job summary

Gentle Dental Edmond is seeking a General Dentist who specializes in endodontics to dedicate the majority of your practice to root canal therapy within a supportive multi-specialty organization.

You will collaborate with General Dentists and Specialists, enjoy a steady flow of internal referrals, and maintain clinical autonomy to deliver exceptional patient care. Competitive production-based compensation with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
  • Active Oklahoma dental license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
  • Current DEA registration, CPR certification, and NPI.
  • Demonstrated experience and confidence performing endodontic procedures.
  • Commitment to evidence-based dentistry and exceptional patient care.
  • Excellent communication and treatment planning skills.
  • Interest in building an endodontic-focused practice.

Responsibilities

  • Root canal therapy and related endodontic procedures for anterior, premolar, and molar teeth.
  • Endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Emergency endodontic treatment and management of pain.
  • Collaborate with specialists for complex retreatments and cases requiring specialty care.
  • Structure scheduling to maximize efficiency while preserving time for quality endodontic care.

At Gentle Dental, we're seeking a Full or Part-Time General Dentist who has a passion for endodontic treatment and wants to dedicate the majority of their practice to root canal therapy and related endodontic procedures within the scope of general dentistry in Oklahoma.

Whether you've developed advanced endodontic skills through continuing education or simply enjoy performing root canals, this is a unique opportunity to focus your practice on the procedures you love while benefiting from the support, technology, and patient base of an established multi-specialty organization.

You’ll work alongside General Dentists and Specialists in a collaborative environment, receiving a consistent flow of internal referrals while maintaining the clinical autonomy to provide exceptional patient care.

Scope of Practice

This position is designed for General Dentists who enjoy providing endodontic care within the scope permitted by Oklahoma law.

Procedures May Include
  • Root canal therapy on anterior teeth
  • Root canal therapy on premolars
  • Molar root canal therapy
  • Endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Emergency endodontic treatment
  • Pulpotomies and pulpectomies
  • Management of endodontic emergencies and dental pain
  • Core buildups following endodontic treatment
  • Collaboration with specialists for complex retreatments, apicoectomies, or other cases requiring specialty care

Patient scheduling will be structured to maximize efficiency while allowing sufficient clinical time for high-quality endodontic treatment.
