Job summary

Sturgeon Creek Dental in Winnipeg is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team at the St. James location. We provide general, restorative, cosmetic dentistry, and incorporate advanced technology to deliver quality patient care.

The role involves preventive hygiene services, patient education, and building long-term loyalty. Candidates must have a Dental Hygiene diploma, be registered in good standing, and hold CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, sealants and whitening to patients.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.

• Saturdays 7:50 am - 2:15 pm
