Job summary

Pleasant Valley Dental in Vernon, BC, is hiring a Dental Hygienist for a part-time role (1-2 days per week). You will deliver preventive dental care, educate patients, and contribute to a relaxed, patient-centered experience.

We offer competitive pay at CAD 55–58 per hour, RRSP matching, gym discounts, and a comprehensive total-rewards package, including Employee and Family Assistance. Current registration and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.

The wage for this Dental Hygienist position is$55-$58/hourdepending onskills, experience, and location.
