Job summary

Oliver Park Dental in Edmonton is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our patient‑centered team. You’ll perform preventive hygiene services, educate patients on oral health, and help build patient loyalty through personalized care.

Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required, current registration in good standing, and CPR certification. This full‑time role offers a collaborative environment within the dentalcorp network and opportunities for professional development.

• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care services.
• Perform preventive hygiene procedures including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, sealants and whitening.
• Act as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering tailored experiences with ethical and professional behaviour.

Schedule:

Wednesday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Alternating Fridays: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Alternating Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Your Role:

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care

• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients

• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling

• Establish andretainpatient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistentlymaintainingethical and professionalbehaviour

About You:

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degreeisrequired

• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory bodyisrequired

• Valid CPR certificationisrequired
