Job summary

LightHouse Dental – Chatham is seeking a professional Dental Hygienist to provide preventive hygiene services and patient education, with a focus on comfort and personalized care. Join a team that values ethical conduct, ongoing learning, and high-quality outcomes in a modern clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.

Your Role

The wage for this Dental Hygienist position is $52 - $58/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

About You

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
