Highgate Dental in Burnaby is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive hygiene services to patients. You will perform scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and whitening while educating patients on preventive care.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient comfort, and a commitment to high-quality dentistry within a patient-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform hygienic procedures including scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride applications, sealants and whitening.
• Educate patients on preventative techniques and healthy habits.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty with personalized experiences while maintaining ethics and professionalism.

The wage for this Dental Hygienist position starts at$60/hourdepending onskills and experience.

Your Role:

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care


• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients


• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling


• Establish andretainpatient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistentlymaintainingethical and professionalbehaviour

About You:

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degreeisrequired


• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory bodyisrequired


• Valid CPR certificationisrequired
