Job summary

Ottawa West Dental in Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking a professional Dental Hygienist to join our patient-centered team. You will provide preventive hygiene services, scale/root plan, polish, fluoride, sealants, and whitening, while educating patients on oral health.

You must be a graduate of a Dental Hygiene program, in good standing, CPR certified; the role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:45am to 4:15pm with competitive pay and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients' expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.
