Barrhaven South Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team in Nepean, Ontario. You will provide preventive and restorative hygiene services, educate patients on oral health, and help deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Schedule:

Monday 8:00am - 6:00pm

Wednesday 9:00am - 6:00pm

Thursdays 8:00am - 4:00pm

Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm

Alternating Saturday 8:00am - 2:00pm

The wage for this Dental Hygienist position is $55-$59/hour depending on skills, experience, and location. Please note that this is a replacement job opening.

Your Role:

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour

About You:

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required
• Valid CPR certification is required
