Description:

Milident is currently seeking an experienced, skilled Dental Ceramist to work full time in our dental lab. If you have at least 3 years’ relevant experience in a dental lab – we want to hear from you! We offer relocation incentives and signing bonuses for the right individual.

General Responsibilities:

• Design dental devices
• Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges or implants
• Modify dental devices including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands
• Prepare plaster models and moulds
• Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory
• Finish metal framework of dentures
• Polish and buff dentures
  

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Registered Dental Technician or equivalent education and experience
• 3 - 5 years of experience in dental technology
• Experience in CAD design
• Must possess effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner.
• Must have a thorough understanding of porcelain pressing technology, crown morphology, and crown and bridge case design

Responsabilités Principales :

• Concevoir des dispositifs dentaires
• Fabriquer et réparer des couronnes, des ponts ou des implants dentaires
• Modifier des dispositifs dentaires, y compris des prothèses complètes ou partielles, des appareils orthodontiques, des incrustations, des onlays, des crochets et des bandes
• Préparer des modèles et des moules en plâtre
• Effectuer des tâches administratives liées au fonctionnement du laboratoire dentaire
• Terminer l’armature métallique des prothèses dentaires
• Polir et lustrer les prothèses dentaires
  

Qualifications:

• Diplôme de technicien dentaire ou formation et expérience équivalentes
• 3 - 5 ans d'expérience en technologie dentaire, expérience en conception CAD
• Connaissances complètes en occlusion et fonctions
• Doit maîtriser l’anglais et / ou le Français
• Doit posséder une communication orale efficace et des compétences interpersonnelles avec la capacité de traiter avec tous les niveaux de personnel d'une manière professionnelle et efficace.
• Doit avoir une compréhension approfondie de la technologie de pressage de la porcelaine, de la morphologie des couronnes et de la conception des boîtiers de couronnes et de bridges.
