Job summary

The Accolade Dental Centre in Toronto is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a patient‑focused team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take dental X‑rays, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Registered or certified dental assistants with provincial registration are invited to apply. Previous chair-side experience is preferred; we offer competitive pay, RRSP matching, and a comprehensive rewards program.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high‑quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $23-$26/hour depending on skills, experience, and location. Please note that this is a replacement job opening.

About You:
