Our client, an Ortho office in Etobicoke, is looking for an experienced DA II to join their team.

Position/Job Requirements

• Level II Dental Assistant (must have NDAEB)
• Asset if have Ortho experience but willing to train

Location

Etobicoke (Islington/Eglinton - free parking)

Hours

• Monday to Thursday (7:45-5:15)
• alternate Friday (8-12)

Compensation

• $25-$30 TBD depending on experience

Job Overview

• Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Assisting dentist with ortho procedures, taking pictures, doing sterilization
• Taking x-rays of patients' teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
• Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
• Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
• Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
