Job summary

Dr. Stephen Yauck Family Dentistry in Wasaga Beach is hiring a Level I Dental Assistant / Floater / Patient Care Coordinator for a full-time role. The position blends clinical duties with patient care coordination, roughly a 50/50 split.

You will chairside assist, support sterilization, and manage appointments while assisting with billing and insurance. Ideal candidates have prior Patient Care Coordinator experience, solid dental knowledge, and strong communication skills to deliver excellent

Dr. Stephen Yauck Family Dentistry is looking for a Level I Dental Assistant / Floater / Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy practice.

This is a unique 50% clinical / 50% patient care coordination role—perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and loves working directly with patients.

What You'll Do

• Assist with patient care and chairside procedures
• Support sterilization, impressions, and other clinical duties
• Float between clinical and administrative responsibilities
• Schedule appointments and support patient communication
• Assist with treatment coordination, billing, and insurance
• Help keep the day running smoothly from front to back

What We're Looking For

• Previous Patient Care Coordinator experience required
• Strong dental knowledge and clinical confidence
• Comfortable working in both clinical and administrative areas
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
