Overview

Dental Assistant Opportunity Kamloops

A highly regarded and well-established dental office in Kamloops is seeking a friendly motivated Dental Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with one dedicated dentist practicing general dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Assisting during a variety of procedures
• Taking digital X-rays
• Placing rubber dams
• Room set-up and sterilization / tear-down
• Intraoral scanning for treatments
• Child patient recalls

Schedule

• Full-time including no weekends and no evenings
• Four to five days per week based on your availability (Monday to Friday; or Tuesday to Friday)
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch)

Requirements for this position

• Candidate must have previous dental experience either in dental assisting school or work experience in the dental field
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA Level 2) preferred but not required (Dental Assistants Level 1 / chairside will also be considered)
• New graduates are welcome to apply right after dental assisting school
• Positive attitude, team-oriented, strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn, ask questions and take initiative
