You will develop the 0-24-month IBP forecast by brand and at the stock keeping unit(SKU) level. You will coordinate, challenge and influence building block with input from sales, marketing and other partners. In addition, you will review the disaggregated short-term demand plan, which includes SKU/location mix and weekly pacing. Finally, you will provide the finalized detailed demand plan by SKU to supply planners and adjust it based on feedback from supply planners or commercial teams.

How you will contribute
  • Contribute to the demand management cycle of the integrated business planning (IBP) process for your categories and to strategy and structure discussions
  • Liaise with the commercial and operational teams and develop ways to continuously improve communication between the functions to support the delivery of the business KPIs for their families
  • Manage forecast compilation process, which includes owning the short-term weekly plan and the long-term forecast (three or more months)
  • Interact with modelling team to generate statistical forecasting
  • Participate in the integrated business planning process and manage the demand planning tool
  • Perform root‑cause analysis for continuous plan improvement for key service issues, forecast error and bias, and share output with appropriate leadership

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the demand management agenda for the category, being the key interface between commercial and supply to identify and evaluate the impact of potential availability issues/commercial changes including gap assessment and risk and opportunity discussions to develop a long‑term consensus forecast
  • Partner with modelling team for the generation of statistical forecasting
  • Review standard consumption versus forecast at the category and total product levels, liaising with supply and commercial teams to manage potential availability issues and the impact of under consumption
  • Drive strong linkages with the commercial, category collaboration, modelling, order fulfilment teams and supply planning including innovation and equity
  • Manage demand planning tasks for product life cycle events
  • Drive continuous capability building in the demand planning team for planning improvement
What You’ll Bring

  • Post‑secondary education (University degree required)
  • 3–6 years of experience in demand planning and forecasting within the CPG or similar industry
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel (pivot tables, modeling) and experience with ERP and APS (SAP APO and/or o9) systems
  • Comprehensive supply chain, economic, financial or logistics experience and commercial awareness in a fast‑moving consumer goods or consumer packaged goods environment
  • Open to learn new ways of working and is willing to use new tools
  • Experience driving demand review and participation in an IBP cycle
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional teams, working on the key priorities and improving the plan
  • Knowledge in leading practice demand planning and end‑to‑end supply chain concepts
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • APICS/ACSM certification is an asset
