Job Description:

UPS is the world’s largest package delivery company and a provider of supply chain management solutions.

Position Summary:

This part-time seasonal position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations. This role involves performing physical work in a fast-paced environment including continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Work Location: In and around the following locations in Gloucester, Ottawa:

• 5307 Canotek Rd, Gloucester, ON K1J 9M1, Canada
• 1980 Ogilvie Rd, Gloucester, ON K1J 9L3, Canada

Workdays:

Monday through Friday (All five days of the week)

Shift Start:

Start time will vary with location between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM

3 to 5 hours shift, start & end times may vary depending on operational needs . Flexibility required

Pay rate:

$18.00/hr.

** APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UP TO 25 HOURS PER WEEK**

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Ability to work 3 to 5 hours a day, start times & finish times may vary depending on operational needs. Flexibility required
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted
• Strong customer service skills
• Employees must wear a company‑provided vest, black pants, and dark brown or black boots
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must be able to deliver packages by means of walking
• Work hours may vary depending on the work volume
