Job summary

The Brick Cranbrook is hiring delivery team members with a customer-focused attitude. Flexible scheduling and hourly pay based on experience are offered, plus signing bonuses for experienced drivers. Training is provided, and health/dental benefits are available for full-time staff.

Staff discounts and other incentives are included. Responsibilities include unloading/incoming inventory, delivering to customers, and maintaining safety and courteous customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a delivery truck safely and professionally.
• Willingness to follow Brick policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming inventory from trailers using hand dollies.
• Load inventory for customer delivery using hand dollies.
• Deliver items to customers' homes in a efficient and courteous manner.
• Interact with customers in a polite and helpful way.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with basic furniture assembly and related setup when required.

Responsibilities

Delivery Duties to include:

• Physical unloading of incoming inventory trailers (hand dollies)
• Loading of inventory going out for customer delivery (hand dollies)
• Efficient/cautious delivery of inventory into customer homes
• Courteous/polite interactions with customers
• Adherence to safety protocols/policies at all times
• Basic inventory setups including furniture assembly, appliance levelling, laundry set stacking, refrigerator door conversions etc.

Qualifications

Additional Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 license required for store 5ton cube truck (no air brakes)
• Safe operation of delivery truck in accordance with all road regulations
• Regular inspection and basic maintenance of delivery truck
