Job summary

Groupe Touchette in Ottawa is seeking a Delivery Driver for a temporary role. You will load, transport and deliver tires to customers, ensuring on-time, safe deliveries.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm; compensation is CAD 20.65 per hour plus a premium rush of CAD 3 per hour. Local regulations and safety standards apply, with a strong focus on reliability and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Has a valid driving license (Class G or Class 5).
• Experience driving delivery trucks.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs daily and load/unload cargo.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Drive a 16-foot truck to customer locations.
• Deliver tires and complete delivery documents as required.

Your Role

As a Delivery Driver within our group, your responsibilities will include loading, transporting and delivering tires to customers, ensuring that deadlines and safety standards are met.

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles;
• Driving a 16-foot truck;
• Delivering tires (up to 70 lbs) and completing delivery documents.

What We Are Looking For

• Holding a valid driving license (Class G or Class 5);
• Having experience driving delivery trucks;
• Being able to handle daily loads between 50 and 70 lbs;
• Safety boots required;
• Reliability, collaboration and vigilance in matters of safety.
