Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a Bilingual EAP Clinical Counsellor to join our remote Quebec team. You will provide short-term counselling to clients via phone and video, using brief interventions to support wellbeing while reducing administrative tasks with our digital templates and tools.

You hold a master’s or doctoral degree in mental health and are registered with OPQ or OTSTCFQ; five years of clinical experience; fluent French, with bilingualism as an asset.

Work from home, Province of Quebec

Permanent, 2 to 5 days/week

You will develop your clinical skills while working with a diverse and stimulating client base. Even while working remotely, you can rely on the generosity of your team and benefit from peer group expertise and online training to deliver the best service.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Adapting your interventions to fit your personal style, you will provide short-term counselling to a varied client base with diverse issues, through phone and video sessions;

You will efficiently manage administrative requirements using clinical templates and technology tools that simplify note-taking;

You will participate in team meetings and peer groups where open discussions are encouraged.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate is comfortable with a diverse client base and skilled in brief interventions. They are proactive, resourceful, and organized, valuing collaboration with colleagues.

You hold a master’s or doctoral degree in mental health or a related field;

You are a registered member in good standing with the OPQ or OTSTCFQ (master's level required);

You have at least five years of clinical experience;

You can set short-term goals and use a solution-focused approach;

You are empathetic and able to manage crisis or high-risk situations;

You have strong time management skills and can manage a high volume of clients;

You have access to a confidential workspace;

Proficiency in French required, bilingualism is an asset.
