Job summary

UPS is seeking Package Delivery Drivers in Quebec City, QC, to deliver packages in residential areas in a fast-paced outdoor environment. A valid Quebec Class 5 driver's license and the ability to lift heavy packages are required. New drivers may cover multiple areas and will need map-reading skills and a clean driving record.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with a maximum rate of $37.29 per hour during progression. Training is paid and advancement opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 70 lbs (35 kg) without help; up to 150 lbs (68 kg) with assistance.
• Read and navigate using map books.
• Minimum 21 years old (insurance).
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Provide driving record abstract before road test; no at-fault accidents in 3 years, no violations in 12 months.

Job Summary

UPS is looking for individuals who enjoy working in a physical, fast-paced, outdoor environment that involves delivering packages in residential areas for UPS. Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid class 5 driver’s license or higher issued in the province of Quebec. Package Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines. New drivers could cover multiple residential areas, so area knowledge is an asset as well as the ability to read a map.

Compensation

• Starting hourly rate: $20/h
• Maximum rate: $ 37.29/h (probation + 48 month progression)
• Paid weekly - every Friday direct deposit into your account

Schedule

Start time between 9 AM and Noon, Monday to Friday Approximately 40 to 45 hours a week Working hours are not guaranteed and depend on the volume of days

Requirements

• All candidates must provide their driver's abstract before doing the road test
